The Nandor

The Elves who initially refused to cross the Anduin and Misty Mountains
and remained in the Vale of Anduin or wandered down-river
Lenwe   Leader of the Nandor  
Denethor s. of Lenwe   Led the Nandor who eventually crossed Eriador and the Ered Luin and settled in Ossiriand. Killed by orcs at Amon Ereb, 1st Battle of Beleriand
  After Denethor's death and their heavy losses, many of the surviving Nandor joined the Sindar (Grey-Elves) in Doriath. Those who stayed in Ossiriand became the Laiquendi (Green-Elves). Other Nandor had remained in the woods of the Vale of Anduin.
